For better or worse, I have dial-up. It is a blessing and a curse. The upshot is that having dial-up service makes me sensitive to the needs of people that have slow internet connections. I see so many really good sites ruined by poor designers that are not careful when sizing their images.

Another thing I see a lot of are templates. I can spot them a mile away. That's because they all look the same! I like to spend the extra time to make the artwork and graphic design look unique. Try to stand out from the crowd in a professional manner.

I also like to write code. Great code is short, sweet and easy to read. Being familiar with javascript and PHP allows for a high level of customization and control. I can do things that software programs and templates can't.
